**WARNING**
The phisics of this game are tied to the frame rate. If you are using a >60 HZ monitor you WILL experience sped up game physics.

Barely even works.

I mean, mechanically it's a great game but I feel as though I'm consantly wrestling with it trying to get it to work properly.
The cutscenes constantly stutter and sometimes the sound cuts out for minutes at a time.
I was prompted to write this review by a bug I encountered mid mission which prevented me from changing the camera, changing my active soldier or opening the pause menu. Totally game breaking!

I had heard that this game had technical problems but I honestly thought it was safe to buy since it has been out for 4 years. Spoiler alert -- IT'S NOT.

This is a good ass game but there's a few issues you gotta look out for or you're not gonna have a great time.

On some systems (mine) the game will run perfectly well until you summon/get summoned for multiplayer. At this point the game will drop down to unplayable framerates and kick you back to the menu. I resolved this by going into the nvidia geforce experience and using their recommended settings, which were nearly identical to the ones I had chosen but solved the problem completely.

Also, the NAT for the multiplayer on this game can be a little screwey if you live on a university campus. I have to play it through a VPN in order to access online features.

If you're a nerd who plays video games alone you ain't never gonna see these issues.

Some losers on the internet tricked me into buying this.

This is a game wiich is "FUN" and has lots of replayable "CONTENT" which will "ENTERTAIN" you and your stupid, empty head.
