This game was more than worth it when it arrived on Steam with early access, and now has become one of the premier examples of the rouge-lite genre. Supergiant Games has outdone themselves with incorporating their signature dynamic narration into the many, many, deaths you'll suffer over the course of your playtime, making what may normally be a frustrating reset into an anticipated story advance. The voice acting talent is stunning, with the entire cast keeping up with Logan Cunningham (remember when we all thought his performance as Stranger Rucks was as good as video game voice acting and narration was going to get?). Darren Korb delivers another outstanding soundtrack for the Supergiant team, as well as giving his voice to the player's character. Without a doubt, one of the best games I've played in recent memory.
