I originally did not recommend this game due to the absurd difficulty and an unenjoyable experience in multiplayer. Since posting my review, the game has been updated and most of my issues have been resolved.

This game is well-structured, and there are many different interactions on each floor, in and outside of the Kletka, and it all works to make a well-crafted experience. It is pretty brutal, but you can grind through floor-by-floor to stockpile and conquer further distances. Multiplayer can feel like it drags on when you die, but the revive machine was changed to be much nicer. I will say that the difficulty scaling for multiplayer is a little off, as we got a LOT of floors one after another with a ton of threats and there was little to no downtime like in the singleplayer playthrough. I've finally beaten the game after a few hours.

I WILL mention one issue I have, being the lack of any explanation for mechanics. I didn't know that you can throw the bottles to set off every trap type, and nowhere was it explained that you use wrenches to defuse traps so that you can use them against threats. The flashlight being effective on the flies was also not explained anywhere (and it was bugged when I started playing originally, so I would just die to them with little to defend myself with). The range from which the melee-based monsters can attack you from is also very close and you have to really get lucky with the hit range in order to take some of them down.

Would I recommend it? Yes, but less so to people looking for a multiplayer experience and more to people looking to go into a tough yet great Lethal Company style game.

Hosted a round with 18 people.

Was promoted to Assistant, assigned an artist to paint lovely paintings for the office, watched the binge drinker start a fire, had someone walk in on me taking a ♥♥♥♥ before kicking me off the toilet to ♥♥♥♥ in it themselves. Ended up firing every slacker, but the last one left so I took a bullet for the team and let the Manager fire his own Assistant to end the game. ♥♥♥♥ was like one of those emotional comedy movies.

Early Access Review
Imagine you made a brilliant horror game with the funny proximity chat shenanigans of games like SCP: Secret Laboratory back at its peak.

Throw in addicting game-play loop for a small squad to take on in the style of Phasmophobia, but with much more at play than just a single ghost.

Now, imagine you can be beat to death by your friends with a Stop sign and a Shovel because you missed your requirements by 5 credits.

That is Lethal Company for you.
