The Finals is definitely one of the best shooters that I have played to date, it employs a mixture of Battlefield 4's destruction and chaos, the teamwork you see in many slower-paced tactical shooters like Counter-Strike 2 or Valorant and the satisfying gunplay from the Call of Duty series to seriously distance itself from it's competition .
(and I don't think it really has much of that either.)

Embark has created a standout game with it and I stand by that, they've successfully made the game not only free-to-play, but there is absolutely NO ITEM IN THIS GAME WHICH IS PAY-TO-WIN which is absolutely amazing when you look at other modern shooters developed by AAA companies.

Now of course there are bugs, and the game isn't exactly stable on lower-end machines, but I really doubt that most players are playing with a 1060 like I am, and even with a 1060 I'm getting smooth enough FPS to where all that is really holding me back from being good is the raw skill I have.

All in all, this game is definitely a 10/10, would get insta-killed by dagger m2's again.

I walk a little bit, get into a room, something shakes and i absolutely lose my mind and try to hide from whatever that was, 10/10

For real though, this game absolutely knows how to time itsself properly, you never know what's hiding past the next corner. Even in rooms where you think you're safe, boom, you open a door inside the room and suddenly some wretched, messed up creature shows up to kiss your heart goodnight as you fall into cardiac arrest.

Absolutely love this game.

This is a great overall game, it's fun with friends.
