I will start with the obvious, it is obviously a great game as it has been based entirely on the old stronghold game - so it is essentially Stronghold HD with slightly better graphics and some more modern interactions. However, that aside it has nothing else new.

I expected Skirmish mode to come along, however have been told they have no intention of making that so I have requested a refund. The campaign is good, however, it is just the old stronghold campaign. Yes £12.99 isn't a lot but I feel the principle is poor. They had skirmish mode in Crusader HD and surely that could be brought across.

I would rebuy if they release skirmish mode (or Crusader Definitive Edition with skirmish mode).

Having always enjoyed games whereby I built up my Clan/Tribe/Team I have particularly enjoyed Northgard's gameplay. The campaign is very fun and a great way to get into the game and learn the basics. I previously have played Civ 5/Civ 6/Settlers when trying to find a game that appropriately suited my want to develop a clan and build upwards! I don't play multiplay but enjoy playing single player games following work before bed to chill out!

Great game, can't recommend highly enough - purchased when on Sale and very happy with my purchase!
