Early Access Review
The game could be good, but it's missing a lot of polish. Ship building is incredibly awkward due to
1) undo works maybe 5% of the time
2) trying to multiselect objects will frequently pick the object up instead
3) lacking tools for manipulation -- there's copy-paste, but no way to mirror/flip a selection
4) there's no way to control how transmissions connect to propellers, they seem to pick a propeller at random
4a) worse, adding a second transmission will cause the first transmission to switch to a random propeller again!
5) generally awkward controls -- things snapping (or not snapping) unexpectedly, selecting the wrong thing, object placement being offset from the mouse position, etc.

Beyond that, the gameplay itself is rather lacking.
a) there's very little variety in parts
b) the game is very unstable -- I haven't made it passed 3 ships without the game crashing
c) combat boils down to "get a good position, aim your weapons, go AFK and make some coffee"

If you do decide to play it, submarines completely break the game -- add a bunch of propellers and torpedoes, dive down as far as you can, and melt the enemy with a torpedo barrage. The AI will almost always miss with guns and torpedoes, planes don't do anything, and I've never seen the AI use depth charges.

tl;dr unstable, awkward controls, lackluster building, stale combat. But it on sale
