After spending *hundreds* of hours of my life that I will never get back trying my best to like Rome II and Attila, I started up a new ETW game this past Saturday, and I have to say: *what a breath of fresh air*.

No more attrition. No more sanitation. No more stressing about "does this region have the right buildings given its fertility, and a governor with the right traits?". No more not being able to do something as simple as train a single militia unit to keep public order in check. No more managing nine different agents. All I have to worry about now is building an Empire and f'ing France!

I'm not even playing with Darthmod, and I am having so much fun. If you are looking to try out a Total War title, you cannot go wrong with this game for $4.99. This is Total War as it's supposed to be.

This game is amazing. You should totally buy it.
