Honestly, I think Minecraft is honestly a bit racist/fascist... The whole game has postcolonial elements to it, and the fact that you can literally enslave villagers (created with deliberately long noses to mockingly represent the Jewish faith) disgusts me. Also, the game is compromised of cubes, and as someone who believes in the possibility of a cubic Earth I find this horrifically tongue-in-cheek and disrespectful. Note that the two stock characters, Alex and Steve (two male names, which is inherently anti-feminist) are both white, and aim to kill the black Enderdragon, which is obviously a racist culmination of 21st century racial profiling. Finally, the game was created by Notch, a proven racist and transphobe. So yeah, it all makes sense when you think about it, and many people choose to deliberately turn a blind eye - this is the problem with our society.
