Oh. My. God. Not since Cave Story has a game affected me emotionally and on a greater scale than Undertale.
Let me explain:
Undertale doesn't need the budget, DLC, or a triple-A publisher to make it a just purchase. This game has one thing that makes it my game of the year. Spirit. The amount of effort and love(I guess you could say determination) is presented through every single conversation, battle and enemy. Every enemy is distinct, and the choices you make last forever, whether you like it or not.

10/10 -Still replaying and enjoying every second of it
