Appealing visual style and fun to pop open for a little bit every once in a while. Runs don't always feel *super* diverse and a little bit same-y but for $5 that's understandable. Definitely worth the price you pay for it!

Good games, kinda mediocre collection. Z-Chaser feels very undercooked, being more or less a handful of time trials :P
Would suggest waiting for a sale.

Cave Story + (Steam) is an awkward middle ground when it comes to releases of this game. The Switch version has considerably more features, and you can even make an argument for the 3DS port of Cave Story + outdoing this one in terms of inclusions (all you really lose out on in that version is the admittedly not great updated graphics, while getting new challenges).

Now that might be fine if this was the only release on the platform, but you can find the original release FOR FREE on PC, and even fan projects that contain new features, graphics, and updates to the original freeware title if its a little too old for your liking.

Whats here is the most bare bones version of Cave Story + still available for purchase (fly high Wii Shop), and while serviceable its certainly the worst of both worlds, not being the true original experience and missing out on features that later releases (official or fan made) have included.

leon is hot and also the game is fun

Great DLC, Kickass OST. Highly recommend grabbing it if you liked the main game.
