Hawken was dead, now it's BACK and kickin'.

I've done some digging around to see whether Reloaded Game, the new pub/dev of Hawken, is any good.
They do have some history with cash-over-player. HOWEVER, Reloaded Game is in a sense separate from its previous corporate overlord, which means we can safely assume there will at least be no in-game advertisements (absurd! I know!).

Some plus's of the new aquisition: Lowered price in cash currency ( about half of what it used to be from what i've read); VERY active community and dev, like Warframe but not as big of a player base; New updates and bug fixes; etc.

What this game need right now are fresh meats! Come on in, nothing to loss eh?

So I've played enough to leave the caress of noob pool, and I gotta say this game isn't half bad.

I've given enough interest in this game that I've explored the items indept, particularly the armor. Armor comes in tiers, and has four slots of upgrade. Each tier doesn't seem to have any huge jumps in stats; and the upgrades adds only a tad bit of stat to give the user the impression of a difference, while the opponent doesn't feel any difference either. In other words, you can kill a fully decked out person, but still feel like it was a fair fight.

Upgrades are accessible for everyone, sooner or later you will be able to get all the armors and guns. Although stats increase progressively, not just getting a variety of other garbage as you level up, the notion of "pay-to-win" is miniscule. This game is more like pay or grind game. Although I never met any unique weapons, they might be overpowered, or maybe not.

Not to mention how smooth the gameplay is. Multiplayer tactical shooter seems like a whole new territory that needs to be properly explored, or maybe there are more of these that I didn't notice. I strongly recommend anyone to try this out.
