HORROR OF THE DEEP is proper horror game. I couldn't finish it because i am not really good at horror games... It is simple walking simulator and you have to find to open doors for next level. Few early level are very easy and not too scary but once to get further it gets worse and worse... and you get to a point where you don't even want to progress because you need to go to new places. I recommend this game for horror lovers and this game is still in development so you can expect even more.


Horror. This game earns it's title as horror game. You can feel atmosphere and there are plenty of horrifying messages around you. There are few jumpscares which makes game even more intense and scarier.

Sounds. This is one of the main aspects in horror games and HORROR OF THE DEEP nailed it. It doesn't matter how monsters look but they sound so terrifying that you don't want to see death animation... You can hear them from far and the fact that you need to move towards them makes it hard to progress (in a good way).

Gameplay. Gameplay in HORROR OF THE DEEP is simple but it makes everything smoother. Level progression is nice they become harder. Most of levels are kind of labyrinth and they are well done. When there are plenty of monster wandering around it is hard to explore everything.


Graphics. Graphics is nice and smooth. There are plenty of details but it could be better.

Story. There is no proper story in this game but everything around that is done properly and you aren't missing story. Writings on the ground gives enough tension to compensate lack of story and this is why i put story in Neutral section.


Checkpoints. I had to mention current checkpoints in game. If you die there is possibility that you will have to go through walking part without a possibility to die again. It just feel useless sometimes when you clearly know where and how to get to a point where monsters are but you have to do it again and again.

Some textures. Textures looks nice but there are other problems like invisible walls. There is arrow on the group and you can't walk through that arrow... In some places you can continuously jump walking to a wall to get to higher grounds or jump over higher ledges.


I do recommend this game. It is good quality horror game and it's on early access. If developers continue to work on this game it might become really high quality horror game.

The Butterfly Sign is beautiful visual journey with a hint of investigation. You play as a person who lost his memory. You wake up strangled and are given drug to remember bad things that happened recently (i am trying to avoid giving out any key information so you can find out by yourself). Game looks really good with awesome landscapes and visuals.

Just look at that... and it's on low settings. Just stunning how advanced it is for a small title.
Yes there is lots of glaring effects but you are searching through your memory while high on drugs.

Controls. Controls are very simple and easy. You use only mouse and wasd to move and shift for sprint.

Investigation. I liked that you have to look around and pay attention to details (sometimes too obvious). When you start interaction with thing you investigate it gives you few choices and you have to choose right answer. You investigate notes everywhere around and use computers (which are password protected and you have to find out code by yourself).

Computers. There isn't much information on in-game computers but i had to put it here. You can access fully working web and watch videos on youtube while you are ingame. It is just awesome.


Story. I didin't put it in pros because story is a bit too short... when you expect things to start game ends... but there are 2nd chapter which will be tried later.

Puzzles. I expected more puzzles in detective game. Especially game like this one but i was dissapointed a bit. There was 2 redeeming puzzles that dragged this section to neutral part.


Graphic options. Yes game looks beautiful and awesome but i don't have powerful computer. I would like to have more option in graphics section just to achieve best possible fps. One of bad things for me (most people don't mind that) motion blur. I couldn't turn it off and this bother me a bit.

Voice acting. Voice actors isn't terrible in this game and most of the time everything is fine but sometimes dialogue feels dry and not real (especially women voice actor). In visual/exploration/detectives voice acting is very important and this game could invest to that a bit more.


I recommend playing this game with few suggestion:
You need mid - powerful computer. Game is visually beautiful and stunning but it comes with requirements.
Do not expect too much. Story is short without much puzzles but it is enough to enjoy this game.

Simple psychological horror game. You start in some kind of house and you just walk, collect kindlebox, light torches and candles and read letters. Reminds something else? Yes it felt cheap copy of Amnesia (gameplay not story) and they forgot main thing: actual horror and atmosphere. I completed all game in about 30minutes (half of played time i was away). There is promises for chapter 2 but i am not sure if there is a way to make this game good.


I don't know... I try to think of something but i just can't find anything good...


Background sounds. Sometimes background sounds are scary a bit, sometimes that sound is repetetive and not scary at all.

Graphics. Game is made using Unity engine and it's not horribly looking graphics but not impressive at all too. It feels like very old game but aged well so i won't go bad on this aspect.


Gameplay. Boring, not interesting and bland... There is nothing challenging in this game. Puzzles are simple as 2+2 and not engaging at all.

Horror factor. Since it's horror game i had to look at horror alone. There was nothing scary or creepy (creepiest part of the game happened in begining

There was one monster in last 10s of game which wasn't scary enough
Game didin't forced me to flinch just because there was nothing happening.

Audio. Yes i mentioned background sounds in neutral section but now i will look to all audio. There is no soundtrack. In some rooms you don't make a sound while walking. Most of the time i was playing in silence with little bit of background sounds which supposed to be spooky but it wasnt.

Story. What story? i found few letters with some writings but no important information and font on letters are horrible... it was hard to read because of that curly font.

Menu. Again what menu? When you start game there is simple Unity engine configuration menu and that's all. First screen you get have 4 buttons: Start, Dark, Darker, Darkest. Between Dark/Darker/Darkest there was very small difference. You get into game, press esc and there is message: Exit game? Y/N and that's all.


It felt that i played a demo for early access game. There was nothing interesting in this game and no horror at all. Not worth the price at this moment. Game itself is too short and not worth calling full game.
I will update review once chapter 2 comes out.

35MM is awesome. Yes i started review with instant compliment to game. 35MM is walking simulator based in Russia with some puzzles and beautiful view. You start without any knowledge of story and pick up pieces of story on the way. Game isn't too long but for price tag it fulfills expectations and overcomes those expectations. I got this game as a gift from friend encouraging me to try it and i was sceptical at first. After playing it for a while i wanted more and more because story development was really engaging.


Graphics. I own only average laptop which isn't capable of running newest games. This game have beautiful environment and optimized enough so my laptop could run it.

Details. Not everyone will get this but everything is highly detailed. I lived close to Russia where all nature and environment is similar. I could name some plant on the ground and forest. There was a jar with birch sap near birch tree and it is awesome moment for me because developer sacrificed some time to design that. Lots of people do not understand some little details but for me it was like ticket home for a while.
Lots of games does one mistake in post apocalyptic games: they make ruins everywhere. In 35MM there is no ruins but semi abandoned buildings and most of them can be visited. There are lots of spray tags on building and other messages. Some of messages are really touching and beautifully done (my favourite piece of art: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=898020722)

Controls. Controls are are good and simple. Yes you have to work out some of controls but after you get used to them it's very simple. I managed to configure my steam controller and played with it without any problems.


Story. I really liked story, but ending was dissapointing a bit (most common of three). There isn't much story in game but as game develops you find some details by yourself making it more engaging and thrilling.

Puzzles. I place puzzles in neutral section because there was some good puzzles and bad ones. I got frustrated while trying to find bucket just because there was no any hints and it felt that i looked everywhere and after reading guide (only for that place) i found that bucket in obvious place but without any proper visual uniqueness from environment. Some of puzzles were really engaging requiring a bit of attention to detail.


Voice acting. Yes game takes place in Russia and people around are Russians but it could be translated for players. Yes there are subtitles but at one cutscene something glitched and those subtitles was useless and i had to miss a bit of story.
Translation. Game originally was made in Russian language and you can find lots of mistakes in subtitles and environment writings.


It is great game if you forget few issues with translating. Lots of people say that game pace is too slow but you can always run. Puzzles are nice and mostly environment is great. Price tag is too fair for customer, it could be more expensive and still worth the price. I DO RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!!

Sketch! Run! is very nice casual and a bit educational game. Controls are very easy and you only need your mouse. Yes you read it correctly, you don't need keyboard to play it, mouse is everything you need. Game is very simple as you draw springs to jump with left mouse button and shoots small fireballs to destroy blocking squares. In all levels there are various photos in background with title from same country or smaller scale location. Game contains 4 seasons at this moment with 5th coming out soon. Each season have 20 levels with first one very short introduction of new obstacles. In each season levels gradually increases in size and gets bigger and bigger. Every level has it's own theme based on country or other location.

I found my country level and was dissapointed how short it was. So i decided to write suggestion with links to more information about Lithuania and guess what.. 2 days later they updated that level with more content!!! how awesome it is when developer responds and updates so fast (if you feel something is missing from your country go to forums and make a suggestion). Big + for that. One more thing: after update there is soundtrack in menu! more awesome soundtracks.


Soundtrack. First good thing that comes to my mind about Sketch! Run! is soundtrack. Every level has it's own soundtrack handpicked for level theme. Sometimes it doesn't hit the mark but most of the time it is really fitting and nice.

Gameplay. . It was hard to decide whether gameplay is good or not but after few minutes debating with myself i can say that it is good. On first play 2h went really fast and i enjoyed despite few minor things. Gameplay itself is very casual and relaxing. At first i was frustrated of how hard to place springs correctly but my suggestion for you would be spam springs. If you need to do few jumps upwards just spam your springs and it will be easy.

Educational value. Leave a kid playing this game and you know that he won't see any brutality or cruelty and he will see some pictures about different countries. Play by yourself and you will see some beautiful places from other countries.


Graphics. I can't justify graphics for this game. Everything is simple and nice. It doesn't feel that game is lacking something in graphics but at the same time there is nothing achieving or impressive.

Controls. I can't put controls in pros just because there are minor issues in camera movement i found frustrating. Apart from that everything is fine and the fact that you need only mouse gives out an idea how simple everything is in Sketch! Run!.


Level design. Pictures are nice and levels itself are good enough but there comes a bad part. Lots of levels are very similar to each other what makes game a bit repetetive but since game is that easy and casual you don't think about that too much and play along. One more flaw in level design is some obstacles placement. There are few Erasers (obstacle which deletes you instantly and you have to start over) placed in very bad places and it feels like you need luck to get past them. Amount of different obstacles type is very small. There is no variations in visuals of same obstacle and all of them looks same.


I do recommend this game. Even after some flaws i can recommend this game because of it's easy nature. It is so casual that you don't feel doing much while playing and just enjoy. Sountrack makes it more enjoyable and in full view makes it easy to play.

Very nice, atmospheric and calm game. This game really makes you question your own exsitence whether you do all you can make your life better or not. It took me less than hour to finish game in all possible ways and get all achievements so it's only short journey with your own thoughts.

I really recommend this game and it's for free. Just grab bit and enjoy.
Suggestion: play alone with earphones/headphones for best atmosphere effect.

Very funny, competetive game. You don't need much time to play it.
9/10 :)
