Daggerfall Unity being a free experience is crazy for a game that's as large as the UK in real life. The quests might not feel as deep as later entries, but the sheer scale of Daggerfall and openness of game play allows for some cool systems. I highly recommend just watching a basic intro video on Daggerfall game play, it may seem obtuse and complicated but it really isn't bad once you play for a bit. Mods are also easy to install on Daggerfall Unity, and can help fix some of the dated game play that may drive away potential players.

One mod I love is the language skills overhaul that lets you use language skills to pacify and potentially recruit enemies in dungeons. Become the orc king

Basically the Halo 3 of this generation

Its pretty enjoyable now, I remember it feeling a lot worse at launch and in beta. The game play feels surprisingly good, the specialists are surprisingly kind of fun to play around with, and it doesn't seem any more buggy than Battlefield 4 is. My main negative is the new 2042 maps aren't consistent in quality, lots of open flat spaces which I despise in Battlefield.

Unfortunately it seems like they're done supporting it which is totally wack, I feel like if you're going to do the comeback thing you should go the No Man's Sky route and just go balls to the walls support the game. Oh well, guess they'll waste a couple years developing the next Battlefield for it to flop on launch and lose support a year or two later. Such is life. Get this one on sale for 8 bucks if you want to try it.

Mafia is just a really solid mafia experience. It isn't the most original story but still is engaging and fun to play. The characters are the high point for me, as well as the gameplay.

Very rough around the edges at the moment but has great potential. I'm excited to see what they do with it.
