This is what I thought about the game in 2019:

"There's something about this game that has made it such an anomaly in the industry, lasting in popularity as it has.
Satisfying movement, satisfying weapons, and a collection of hats large enough to keep your creativity (and wallet) at full power."

Even another 1,330 hours later, these thoughts from 2019 still hold true; TF2 is an amazing game and there will likely never be another game like it. Unfortunately, Valve continues to add and sell in game items for money when the game in its current state is essentially unplayable anywhere but community servers. The bot crisis is slowly bleeding this game's community dry and Valve couldn't care less.
