I use Gentoo GNU/Linux, by the way. My entire system was compiled from raw source code and specifically optimized for my CPU's architecture. You've been running the same, unoptimized, bloated binaries as every other passive consumer on the planet. My kernel is not only newer than your entire OS, but a custom configuration, down to the last parameter. I have ultimate control over all the code executing on my metal, unlike you, who is at the mercy of multi billion dollar corporations who would rather sell your data than fix their garbage operating system. How do you fix something when it breaks? Click "Troubleshoot" and pray it starts working again? I analyze build logs, modify compilation flags, and apply patches directly to the source code. I am a systems engineer, you are nothing but a script kiddie staring at a login screen you don't even know how to get past without a GUI.
