So, I´m not really the usual player for old school shooters or shooters at all. Pretty bad at them. I played the demo a while back, and then played it again but without using weapons. Not only had I improved enough that playing without guns was plausible, it was also fully developed as possible in the game. If you love these kinds of games, unequivocally play this one. Its probably one of my best games of all time.

There are some parts of it that are a little confusing. Sometimes its easy to get lost where you are. I love the visuals, but they don´t make it easy. I've spent quite a while roaming around the same 3 rooms trying to remember the single block ladder exit. Sometimes its not quite obvious what routes are possible and which not, leaving you to spend an hour attempting something that's not possible. And there's obviously a lil bit of "indie" jank, of course there is. Weapons having a bethesda moment when dropped sometimes, balls duplicating, a boss randomly dying on 1/4 HP, object gravity locally reversing.

Despite all of that, it kicks ass, and I highly recommend you play it. It's really, really, really fun. And even if you're not the usual type for these games, there's a good chance you'll like it. Besides, for an early access game, there's already quite a lot of content there. Definately worth the asking price to me.

If found is a hard game to recommend.
On the one hand, it does what I really want it to do, It's an intense, emotional, incredibly interesting piece of art. Its beautiful, and very much does what it sets out to do.
On the other hand, what it sets out to do is rip a hole in your heart. A wound that still hasn't healed, years after playing it. I had to drag myself through finishing it, because I knew if I didn't I'd never get to move on. But even now, a good year after playing, I'm still just.. wounded whenever I look at it. It's not a game that lets you move on, not a game that actually feels like it "finishes".
It's just a story, an incredibly well written, heartfelt, glorious story, that you won't forget. And it's up to you if you want that.

A very neat game. Some decent dialogue mixed with decent music. The game shines with its puzzles, though they can be sometimes be a little rough around the edges. Some of the least frustrating and most fun i've had with puzzles. The lore is good and though not mind-blowing, it's a good story. The art is great, with some very nice visuals. All in all, while maybe not the best of the best, a very solid game and one I'd highly recommend.

Sons of Ra is a really fun game about fighting each other in a tower defence sim. If you like tower defence games, you'll like this!

Where do I even start. If this game looks like it's fun to you, I absolutely guarantee it is. This is imho the best form of "vehicle building and then using them" type-games there is. The game is simple enough that I can build my ships and be play it without trouble, but deep enough that I have NO clue after 50 hours what the optimal designs are.

There's just so much to cover, this is truly a heaven for those who like these types of games, so lemme go over the highlights:

-New equipment isn't per-se stronger, unlocking new stuff can be done in practically any order, only a few things are locked behind trees. Things are balanced enough to the point that people make spreadsheets of them and still none really come out the winner, encouraging you to get good with and use whatever weaponry you enjoy.

-Actually unlocking equipment is done not through XP or some other weird form but instead through gathering resources. Now this is a little bit of a menial task but unlocking most things doesn't actually take that long, no equipment is ABSOLUTELY needed and there's enough emergent gameplay that every new "run" feels like an adventure.

-There's a fairly in depth fighting/boarding system with a easy to learn but hard to master grappling hook.

-The dev is constantly updating it, and not small updates either. New equipment, and entire parts are constantly added. The map was completely overhauled at one point. It seems like every second update is something major enough to really want to try out.

-Shipbuilding, partially because of the constant updates, is fun. You have so many different ways to work while still needing to finish with something that can float and turn and fly. No approach is entirely incorrect, and all vehicles are a delicate balance of how much you're willing to spend, how strong they'll be and what you want the ship to do.

All in all, great game 10/10 if it looks fun it will be fun. Go buy it.

Really cute great game, amazing art, good music, what more could you want? My boyfriend and I keeled over laughing multiple times. The ending leaves...something to be desired but I suppose that's just how it is

On a serious note, this game is an absolute disaster and I'd bet money you're not gonna get past chapter 1 without having to go back and grab things you have no idea how to. This is a disaster artist level game, and has made me laugh harder than it ever was. I am probably the only person who has ever played this.

Dev, if you're reading this. Thank you, I've died laughing. Next time, consider making a Gmod map or something instead of a 6 euro game. Although, considering the quality, I presume you're like...12 and for that, this is an impressive accomplishment. I hope you had fun making it.

This game is great, some amazing pixelart alongside very good writing and story. I really enjoy the setting being a close-to cyberpunk-ish setting. That said, this game is hard. I'm mostly after the lore, and not the smartest/best at these types of gamer. The game kicks my ass regularly when I ♥♥♥♥ up some small thing and I keep quitting frustrated, but coming back every time. If you're easily frustrated, maybe think again. Otherwise, amazing game by a very good small studio.
