i used fraps, what you do is go to movies and make sure you check the box that says Record external input (your mic), and it will record everything you say. Lets say you wanted to record Killing Floor gameplay but you onlly wanted it to record whatever you would say when you used the ingame speaking thing you would check the Only Capture while pushing "Caps Lock". Caps Lock the button you use to talk in game, V for tf2, x for gmod, etc.
