Intravenous 2 takes everything that made the first game great and expands on it. More gadgets, more ways to interact and engage with the environment and the ability to pretty extensively modify your weapons means you have a lot of choice in how you approach levels. Stealth is tough, as it should be, with enemies never regressing to a previous alert state, but the game doesnt punish you for going loud.

Going loud might result in one of the best ultraviolence power fantasies I've seen in a video game for a long time. Stalking through a maze-like warehouse with all the lights off, picking off enemies as they flood in and seeing them panic, blindfire and eventually retreat is an indescribable thrill. Plus, going loud is the only way you hear Intravenous' fantastic soundtrack. Both the original tracks and reworked versions of IV1's music are excellent.

It's a pity some of the new features aren't used more than they are. One level gives you a choice to approach it during the day or the night, changing up the patrols and giving or denying you certain approaches, such as permitting the new social stealth system, but I don't feel like its explored enough in the game with the aforementioned level being the only time i saw such a choice. Additionally, being a top down game, its naturally much harder to move north and south than it is to move east and west (at least with conventional monitors)

That said though, Intravenous 2 remains a fantastic game, and it's a shame its not getting more attention than it is.

Even in its current early access state, with only one of its seven courses available, that being lineart, this is a very good resource for learning and understanding the fundamentals of pixel art, and indeed the fundamentals of art in general. Pixel Art Academy's lessons are suitable even for people who have never even tried pixel art before but serve as a good refresher even if you know what you're doing. Controls and hotkeys it teaches match, at least as far as i remember, the hotkeys you would use in Aseprite.

It will be interesting to see what the other courses are like!

Extremely good, short lil RPG about queer rodents fighting God. Mostly easy but some fights can still trip you up.

The OST has no right going as hard as it does but it absolutely slaps. Solid recommend

Maybe I'm just specifically the kind of person this game is for, being someone who was a teenager throughout the entirety of the 00's, and also thought that the kind of aesthetic this game goes for was genuinely unironically cool, but it is an outstanding time capsule of that time.

Beyond that, it's short and sweet, every weapon feels good, from its basic pistol that remain useful throughout the game, to its extremely satisfying talisman that will melt everything.

There are lots of cute details that have no right existing in a game like this, but nevertheless are there, like functional carnival games, mirror floors (that you can check yourself out in) and actual sound doppler effect.

There is a lot of scatological humour that might be a bit gross for some people but it is a relic of humour from the time. We were very cringe back then.

All in all, an excellent FPS with lovely details and weapons, that doesn't outstay its welcome in the slightest.

A fantastic fusion of STALKER and 19th century American west, it's very feature filled despite its early access state, two of the three chapter that took me over 20 hours to complete, and I didn't even find everything, but you can absolutely be faster if you want.

A little rough around the edges so far, some hangups and performance issues, and a lot of text typos but what we have is very promising and an absolute ton of fun.

The game is rife with furries so if you like that sort of community, you can expect what is honestly one of the nicest and most chill communities around. On the other hand, the game is rife with furries, so there's a lot of UwU going around. It's lovely regardless.

Beyond that, very enjoyable BR with no hero skills or anything, just you, the guns you find and your own wits. Absolutely recommend.

There's not too much present right now, but what there is is very entertaining, pretty challenging and quite engrossing. The reels you work with are also pretty funny but rely quite a lot on farcical humor, so if that's not your thing then your mileage may vary. Regardless, for £10, Not for Broadcast is really worth a look, and I personally can't wait for its next episode.
