Im scared to see what has become of bioware in the latest game after experiencing the GOAT

go play battlefield if you dislike ICO, this needs to differentiate itself from other games and it was a great update. Of course its not realistic, its a gamified version of forcing you to play with a squad instead of run and gun.

its a good game, but not a good battlefield. My main gripes with the game is that having 9 operators in a battlefield of 128 players is ridiculous, it ruins immersion first of all, and the skills are not interesting. At least hide their faces so I'm not looking at 3 Irishes at the end screen. Also, having 128 players impacted the game negatively, the maps suck, its too much chaos that doesn't feel good, and I'm sure that the game was dumbed down to accommodate so many players. Both battlefield 1 and 5 look miles better, feel better and immerse me in a war like in bf1 mainly.

The movement speed also is too much, all operators being able to live without teammates sucks and all the weapons feel the same, unlike for example in bf1 you had to be prone to use certain weapons. This franchise is getting closer and closer to COD where teamworks matters null. Its obvious that these are new times and higher ups made them focus on things that aren't healthy for gameplay but for their wallets. Such is life. Hopefully they will realise this because having a player count higher in bf1 is embarrassing.

Of course I recommend, if you want to see a constructive review look elsewhere, I'm just here to be part of the statistic that loves the game.

Exactly what I expected from this game, there doesn't exist a single character where you have to invest more than an afternoon to learn, compare this game to Tekken 7 and you will see what I'm talking about. The amount of players reflects that, more than half of the playerbase is gone due to how boring the game is after a while, even Tekken 7 has more players after 4 years, because there, it's hard to master the game and your character. Or maybe you can compare the game with MKX, there you also take a lot longer to master a character, just look at Liu Kang from MKX and then look at him in MK11 and you will understant. This is what happens when you try to please a casual crowd in a genre that is mostly made up by people that invest in fighting games and play them almost daily. Thanks NetherRealm.
