Dead by Daylight is an insanely fun and addictive multiplayer game. Originally I just liked the game because I knew there were various licensed horror movie icons in it, namely Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Amanda Young, and my personal favorite, Bubba (Also known as Leatherface). When I started learning the game I enjoyed it even more! Not only are these iconic killers part of the game as DLC, but when you play as a survivor you feel like you're a victim in a horror movie! Your goal as a survivor is to work with three other survivors to repair generators, hide from the killer, create distractions, and ultimately escape a trial without getting hooked as a sacrifice (Or possibly worse, butchered in front of your very eyes). The music and sound effects really add to the horror of being stalked by a killer, whoever it may be, and the more engaged you are the more scared you will feel in real life. The game is just as fun when playing as a killer as well, especially since you're able to play as your favorite horror movie villains from their perspectives! When playing as a killer the game is pretty much the opposite, and your goal is to slow the survivors' progress as much as possible by damaging generators, destroying palettes, and ultimately hooking all survivors as sacrifices before they escape the trial. Whether you play as a survivor or a killer the game never gets boring since there is always something to work towards, whether it be leveling up characters for the first time as a beginner or reaching rank 1 every season.
