Now that the game is playable, here's my general review:

-Stealth gameplay is extremely good, evolves on Payday 2 stealth wonderfully, one of the best stealth systems I've ever seen, feels great, sounds great, looks good
-Progression systems sucks. Stop with this idiotic challenge only progression. It failed in Halo Infinite, it's failing now
- Customization sucks. Barely any mask patterns, we can see all available options so no mystique/sense of progression, default outfits go hard as ♥♥♥♥ and most unlockable outfits are lame. I miss every mask unlock being a surprise, and the random cards at the end of the match. There's just no magic to this system. Also, where are the different textures for the masks??? That was one of the coolest things about Payday 2 masks
-Always online sucks. I shouldn't have to worry about lag in solo stealth, or being unable to play the game because my internet is faulty/off
-Runs worse than I would like, just barely getting about 45-55 fps constantly

I'll tell you what I think about the skills and such if I ever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unlock them. I did Dirty Ice solo stealth on Very Hard, doing everything except for the front room (including cleaning the jewelry) and I only got a third of a level while at level 13. What a joke

I would like to appreciate the genuinely amazing gameplay, but it's hard when everything except for that is complete garbage. I really hope they turn this around

So far I'm loving this game. The music, visuals, ui design, etc all have a unique vibe that I really like, almost feels like a game I could have dreamed about years ago.

My biggest problem so far is that I went full dex/speed build for crazy mobility, but the only ranged weapon I have found (in 6 hours of gameplay) is the crossbow I farmed and scrimped for at the crow lady shop. Meanwhile I've picked up about 15 melee weapons all the while, which I'm not specced to make any good use of. Maybe i've just been unlucky or blind missing the ranged weapons

My suggestions if you play this game: Don't go for ranged weapons, go for melee or magic or a mix of both. This game is also maze-like, so you'll want to focus a lot on your surroundings if you're bad at directions like me, maybe even make an old school drawn map for it. If you do that, there's a lot to love about this game. I can't wait to see it finished. Really cool lore presentation and visuals. Not many games can make discovery this fun for me.
