He actually is a Hero. Great DLC. In my eyes even better then the main campaign.

I just made this review to make up for the big amount of bad reviews. A game does not need to be long to be good. This game is awesome. Get it especially if it is on sale like right now.

I haven´t finished the game yet, but I wanted to share my thoughts.
This is the first Yakuza Game I did not enjoy for the most part. I thought the pacing in Yakuza 4 was awful but this game takes the cake in that regard. Many boring parts and the Story is dragged out way too much.

Of course this is still a Yakuza-Game, it has the humour and some really good parts. In regard of the Story-pacing and Mini-Games, Kiryus Chapter is the best in the entire Game. The Taxi-Sidemissions is the the best Mini-Game in the entire franchise, even better then cabaret club. Kiryus fight against the Tojo-Clan is one of the best in the entire Series (Kiryu doging a Missile is freaking awesome).

I never was a fan of multiple characters in the Yakuza Games in the first Place. It dragges out the tension of the Story. This is the case especially after Kiryus part, where the game lets you run errands in the prison for 3 hours without any Mission-Markers. In Yakuza 4, the Prison was the worse part and now you can do the same ♥♥♥♥ again in Yakuza 5.

The reason I gave this game a thumps down is that they failed the balance between the serious stuff (Story) and the unserious parts (Side Missions, Mini-Games, etc.). I mostly enjoyed the Mini-Games, but if the other 50% of the game is poorly made, it is not fun anymore, especially if you played Yakuza not only for the Mini-Games, but also for the Story.

I know that Yakuza 6 will only have Kiryu as a Main-Character, on top of that, it is way more Story-focused then this Game, I will probably enjoy that Game more then Yakuza 5.

This game stands out compared to the rest of the series. It has a slow start. You need to take care of an orphanage, talk to the kids, spend times with them and take care of their problems. The pacing reminds me of Shenmue and thats is probably why I like so much. But the story picks up speed after you leave Okinawa and I think it is really a shame, that the Okinawa-part of the game is really short.

That´s what I´ve seen so far and I am really liking the change of pace and setting so far. I am sure I will
not be dissapointed with the rest of the game.

At the same time this is my first Assasins Creed game. The Game is repetetive at some points, for example you are forced to do side missions to progress in the main story, while there are only 4 diffrent types of side activities in this game.
The story and the setting was fresh and unique at the time the game was released, but after 12 games, it may seem old at this point.

If you want to get into the Assasins Creed franchise, I´d recommend to start with this game, as it might feel outdated, when trying to come back to this at a later point.

If you are experiencing the Leap of Faith bug, where jumps to not work correctly, leading to the player characters death upon impact. That is caused by playing with high fps. What you need to do is limit the fps to 60, then it works as intended.

More of SAO Lost Song. If you liked Lost Song, you will like this game. A bit short though.

This game has his flaws

The gameplay is repetetive, animations are bad (except the rendered cutscenes, those look really good) and most importantly:
"I need to check my mails"

But what kept me going, that I wanted to finish the game was the really well written story. I was always a fan of good written stories in games. That is why I am a fan of the Yakuza-Series and that´s also why I say WD1 is better then WD2, where most people would disagree with me.

If you can live with the flaws, you will have a great time and you will experience one of the best written stories for a JRPG of all time.

This game is a masterpiece.
This game managed to combine fun gameplay with a good-written story, which has a deep connection to our society and his future.
I've never had a game make me think that hard. But, Deus Ex Human Revolution is a well-made, outstanding game.

Just get it, it´s worth it.

Ain't nothin' but a heartache

This is the most interesting part of Europe to drive on. A mixture of post-soviet areas, modern cities and untouched nature. Because of the lack of Motorways SCS had the chance to implement many amazing looking scenery Routes. On top of that, because there are almost no Motorways, those feel like an special event instead of a boring road to drive on.

I am a bit disapointed about Istanbul though. It feels big, but they only implemented like 20% of the whole city. For example the thing Istanbul is famous for is missing: Being a city on 2 continents. It just doesn´t feel right.
