Way too many bugs, the games code has been changed so physics are different, and the new items feel weird and bad. Everything feels rushed with no passion right now. I wouldn't buy, let alone update the game to the recent patch.

This is literally just a direct upgrade from the game made in 2013 with modern controls, graphics, mechanics, and a lot more stuff.

They added more items, more survivors, more bosses, more intractable stage items, more stages, and generally more stuff to fill out the lore and immerse yourself in the universe that's been steadily building over 10 years.

Yes I would recommend this and I would say to share it as much as possible!

• I will admit it takes time to learn to get comfortable if you're not used to fast paced games, and its a very mechanic heavy game. If you don't like doing the intended routes for games and or you don't like very mechanically intensive games then this probably isn't the game for you.
  
  
• I used to think I was struggling in every semi strong enemy or mini boss. After taking some times to just get comfortable with the games mechanics, specifically deflecting (Parrying) and reacting to perilous attacks (Unblock-able/Red), the game became so much more fun. Just sit down and maybe for an hour or two, get used to the timing and everything else becomes a breeze.

I would recommend it, though having to complete the game four times in one play-through for some of the achievements is a bit much.

THEY KEEP ADDING ACHIEVEMENTS< I HAVE TO COME BACK EVERY TIME TO GET 100% AGAIN< I HATE IT!

A very worth while update. I personally really enjoy the expansion and I feel as though the 15 USD price tag is more then justified by the amount of content you're receiving in exchange.

• You get two new characters
  
• One new game mode
  
• 40 new items including a few new equipment items and another new item " Rarity "
  
• Four new stages
  
• Multiple new normal bosses and enemies
  
• A completely new final boss.
  
  This along with the fact that as long as one of your friends owns the expansion, YOU CAN STILL PLAY THROUGH IT WITH THEM!
  
  (the only down side is that you wont permanently unlock any items as well as not being able to play as either of the 2 new characters).
  
  Its very generous of the creators to allow you to still play and I'm glad they did since I could share it with my friends who where on the fence about the expansion.
  
  Overall, Id say its worth the 15 USD and if you are having second thoughts, ask to play with a friend who has it and see if you enjoy the new content before you decided.
  
  (P.S. I did receive the expansion at a discount meaning I paid around 10 USD in case that makes you feel different about my review)

WARNING: This game is only 3 to 5 hours long. Now although the game may only be 3 to 5 hours long, I still recommend it for anyone wanting a nice indie game to play. I would say wait for a sale because I feel like this games a little too small for $20 USD but I don't regret spending it. Maybe we might get more content in the future to make it more worth $20 for me but as it is, it's and amazing game.
