Through the salt wastes of Moghra'yi and into the rust caves of the Screaming Men of Qud. I've walked the vast jungles and swam the infested Svy. Though the land flushed with nephilim from that Moon Stair, I stood and fought them back. Time, space, and mind as my weapons... I made the stuff of reality itself my tool. I have plunged into depths most foul and spoken with beings beyond comprehension. I lived, I died, I lived again. I ascended that great tree, and I now know the truth...

Hot Guys were making me too hot so I went on an endurance training arc for two months. Now the Hot Guys don't make me so hot anymore! But candles do... So I carry a watering can with me wherever I go! Gotta keep myself wet.

I love this game.

This is, like everyone else says, the Dwarf Fort/Cataclysm/Rimworld/Kenshi/autistic nightmare I've always dreamed of and it's very well done. If I want to be a big, tough, manly dwarf dual wielding fire axes in a chainmail bikini, peacefully maintaining my wheat fields (after decimating the nearby goblin camps) I can dang well do it.

My biggest complaint is the display pictures for dogs. When zoomed out it looks like some kind of a skeletal ghoul and always freaks me out. Then when I zoom in it's just Lassie, up to her old tricks.

This game has swallowed days of my life and hundreds of dollars for DLC from my bank account. It's probably the best game I've ever played. It may not stack up to Europa Univeralis 4 when it comes to raw, gritty strategy but there's an appeal in CK2 I'll probably sound way pretentious while describing.
You see the faces of all the rulers of the world, and they're all different. Always changing with different ideas of how they want the world to look as each generation passes by. It's more than just a game, when you get down to it. It offers insight into history and even psychology beyond what I think Paradox intenteded. And whether or not they did they succeeded and I can't recommend CK2 enough.
