If you’re looking for a polished rhythm game, then this isn't for you. If you’re looking to simply experience a rhythm game of this type, then maybe. And that’s a maybe leaning more to a no please...

Pros:
- This style of rhythm game is rarely seen outside the Japanese arcades, while the controls are odd feeling at first, they are probably alright for casual play
- Wide variety of songs despite the games size, likely thanks to the community around it and workshop submissions
- Score screen is alright, I guess?

Cons:
- No Fullscreen borderless/windowed Fullscreen in 2019
- Oddly set out interface with images not really suggesting what the button means and all the images are pretty much stock lol
- Doesn't let you customize options before dropping you into a tutorial pls literally never do this that’s so stupid
- One menu song, does not change if you select a song, menu song is misrepresenting most of the "official" songs
- Gameplay is kinda basic, don't expect any interesting Maimai or Wacca mechanics here
- Gameplay feels unresponsive and clunky with missed inputs freezing the tile in its lane instead of simply removing it and letting you continue playing like literally any other rhythm game ever
- Weird "lives" mechanic that basically sets a maximum amount of times your allowed to miss on a song?
- Every arc, top bottom and left right, are coloured the same. This is pretty frustrating to begin to read as a new player and, much like other games could have some sort of colour scheme. Also, would make reading with a different control setup than default a lot easier
- Input spamming before the chart has even started causes you to lose score and lives, input spamming in general causing a miss when very clearly not attempting to hit an "arc" is a bad mechanic as it discourages ghost tapping
- Song layout is incredibly convoluted with no real explanation to what each section entails. Also, no way to see only charts you have downloaded
- Clearly not a fluent English translation with things such as "Start yours creation" and "get more fun"
- Tapping too early loses you score but not lives, too late loses you both. Inconsistencies.
- FPS is pretty bad, I run on a decently high-end setup; 1080ti and i7 6700K. FPS is also sometimes randomly locked to 60 and I have no idea why. Also sometimes locked at 144. Never seen it unlocked but who knows with this really.
- Anti aliasing literally does nothing. Jagged edges on or off
- Some song titles Romanized others not. Should this not just be a toggle??
- Input delay is unacceptable really. Nobody wants to play with 7ms
- Etc. really, you could keep going through this game and find a lot more issues with it. Usually I would brush these issues off but honestly this has been out since 2016 and deserves no remorse.

$5 is better spent elsewhere.

quite fun casual rhythm game, fast progression without such a steep learning curve common in some other games of the genre however still maintains a fairly high skill ceiling (i imagine even more so in the DLC which i do not have as of yet)

rate changer would be nice
