*Very* fun game, but too little content for the price, considering I finished my first run with a time of 1:18:09. I would happily re-purchase Peglin in the future after the game has received some updates.

It's really just an OK game. I didn't find the campaign very compelling - at least what I played of it - and the multiplayer feels dead when I can't simply search for heists and am forced to wait three minutes and hope someone joins my game. I hate to draw comparisons to games within the same or similar genres because I feel it's a very low-effort way to judge them, but I will here for the sake of brevity.

PAYDAY 2 is a similar size to Crime Boss: Rockay City in regards to the amount of space that it takes up on your drive. You would think that means, at first glance, both games would have close to the same amount of content to explore, right? Unfortunately for me, that was not the case. Having logged ~160 hours into PAYDAY 2 at the time of writing this review, I can safely say that within my first hour of PAYDAY 2, I experienced far more than I did in my first hour of Crime Boss: Rockay City.

PAYDAY 2 has a lot going for it: years worth of content updates, a compelling story, interesting characters, probably one of my favorite progression systems in a video game, satisfying combat, an incredible soundtrack, fun heists; the list goes on. What does Crime Boss: Rockay City have going for it? Aside from celebrity cameos - which I'm inclined to believe is where most of the budget went - not much. I didn't enjoy anything, really. Nothing pulled me in, not even a little bit.

To conclude, Crime Boss: Rockay City is a severely watered down PAYDAY experience. I've heard some call it the spiritual successor to PAYDAY, but I just don't see it. Maybe in a few years' time, this game will rival PAYDAY in terms of game-play and sheer breadth of content, but as it is now, even $20 feels steep. Wait for a sale, get PAYDAY 2 at the cheapest price imaginable (it's $10 but I've seen it listed for as little as $5 with an ample amount of DLC), and relish in the chaos of what I consider to be the definitive heisting experience.

Best game. 10/10. 100/100.

EDIT: Worst game. 0/10. 0/100. Get your ♥♥♥♥ together, Valve.

Before you go into this game and come out with a bad taste in your mouth, know this: Warface is NOT pay-to-win.

Yes there are microtransactions in this game that allow you access to statistically better guns than you start with, but by playing consistently, you can unlock free-to-play weapons that rival guns that cost $20-$30 or come in random boxes you can buy with real money.

The game is as fun as you make it, and as a player of Warface when it first came out on Xbox 360, I still love the game. I love dumpstering on bad players, I love seeing veterans that dumpster on whole teams. This is one of the most fun free shooters I have ever picked up, and you'll like it, too.

TL;DR - Aim for the head, and you'll have a good time.

Was good until "Spark of Transformations" were added so now the game is essentially P2P.
