The game is obviously fun and polished at its core, but the monetization is horrible compared to most F2P games (No premium currency in the battle pass for example), the balancing is a joke (And new heroes are almost always overtuned when they release, to get people to buy the battle pass and unlock them early), matchmaking is a complete dice roll compared to feeling mostly fair in OW1, and the new PAID PvE missions are absolutely not worth it, when they've basically had the same exact experience for free during events for the past 6 years.

It's a shame, because Overwatch has mostly good gameplay, great characters/lore, and so on, but there are so many bad things surrounding the game that it's really not worth getting into and investing time/money into it.
