bought this game + the dlcs for hazel. stayed for them and quite literally everything else. the art is phenomenal, and the credits were so, so stunning to watch (as usual for a monster prom game). definitely going to be pouring hours well above the double digits into this game once art fight's over this august :-]

This game is so dang charming. I love the visuals so much -- the style of having paper cutout characters in contrast with the open, 3D Habitat is incredibly striking, and like... wow. Chef's kiss. (Don't even get me started on the puppetcraft and real life set design shown during the night-time TV sequences. I visibly went :-0 when I saw it for the first time.)

The puzzles are just a tad bit tedious, but I'll chalk that up to me being an actual homunculus when it comes to puzzle games in general. Regardless, I had fun playing through the game up to three different times at this point, so the difficulty clearly wasn't an issue in the slightest!

For those worried about the horror elements, it's totally cool; it doesn't really kick in up until the last 10 or so minutes (not counting in-game drowsiness), and even then, it's only a touch creepy. But if you REALLY wanted to see something horrifically terrifying and my previous sentence left a pit of immeasurable disappointment in your stomach, well, to each their own, I suppose.

Definitely buying the art book DLC at some point to check out the creative process behind all of this.
