Review Showcase
lower your expectations going into this from the base game or any of the previous DLC from other games

- more often than not you are punished for exploration (you will find nothing and be happy)

- the bosses are fine, but nothing particularly interesting. Some, like the Promised Consort Radahn fight, felt a bit over-tuned

- enemies are boring & repetitive (looking at you, gravebirds)

- scadutree fragments feel like an afterthought. They come across as a gimmick rather than a compelling story or gameplay mechanic. They undermine the sense of discovery and satisfaction that the game usually provides, tarnishing it instead.

you’ll think, “Oh boy, I wonder what that item is way over there in that hard-to-reach spot,” only to be disappointed when it turns out to be a scadutree fragment instead of a more interesting item or weapon. get used to it. it will happen often.

the only positive mark i'll give this DLC is the levels/areas are some of the most stunning, beautifully designed locations yet. which makes it all the more painful when you make an effort to explore it and find it to be mostly empty.
