Good, short game; solid humor and an enjoyable ride throughout.

Great game, but has really bad stuttering in most medium/large areas that can get really bothersome during boss fights. Loving it so far, but the stutters actively work against my enjoyment. I still highly recommend it, but if you do buy it go in knowing it might not run to well no matter the hardware you have until they fix their stereotypical Fromsoftware port.

So, I ended up picking this game and the other three in a bundle back when it was on sale due to a friend's recommendation, and I must say I am not disappointed in the slightest. The previous two games in the series have managed to keep my spastic attention span in an iron grip with it's amazing story, setting and gunplay, and Metro Exodus has not failed to follow up. I have enjoyed this game more than any other single player series in the last few years. As somebody who is a sucker for this style of story (Post apocalyptic wasteland survival with a good story thrown in) it's hard to find a game or game series that manages to do it well. I ended up playing through the previous two games on the hard difficulty, and I made the choice of amping things up by running Ranger Hardcore with the "deep dive" hud, which is to say I had basically no hud whatsoever. There were times that it was frustrating due to not knowing how much ammo I had unless at a workbench, but in the end I'm glad I did it; it certainly added greatly to the experience, and it really felt like I was playing through the eyes of Artyom. If you're willing to deal with some trial and error, I would recommend this as the way to go. To wrap this already long review up before it gets any longer, I would highly recommend you give this game a try if you've played the previous in the series. I was very satisfied with how the story resolved itself, and in my opinion this is one of the best games I've ever played.

It's got it's rough edges, and is has more than it's fair share of bugs, but from what I've played and from what I've experienced story-wise this'll be quite the enjoyable game.
