If you own a Logitech G25, G27, or any other steering wheel made for PC then you know how fun they can be and how much they can enhance your in-game experience. The biggest challenge of such a steering wheel is finding a good game in which you can use it. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is both amazing and awful in this regard.
For starters, I love the fact that it automatically recognizes my G27 wheel since a lot of games don't. I also really like that I can use my six speed shifter, my paddle shifters, or simply put the transmission as automatic. In manual transmission mode you can even choose whether you want to use a clutch pedal, or if you want the clutch to be automated.
As I stated before, there are also several bad aspects of the game. I'm just going to be blunt about it and say the handling is atrocious, even nauseating. Not everyone may encounter this issue, but for me the force feedback system ruins the handling. Force feedback itself is a great feature and greatly enhances driving experience, however, I had to turn the system off altogether in TU2. When left on it randomly jerks the wheel left and right in an extremely annoying fashion. It's almost as if it wants to simulate driving under the influence (I'm not kidding it's that absurd). After I turn force feedback off, the problem is miraculously fixed and the car is sober again! But now, the handling becomes similar to that of a canal boat. It's like power steering no longer exists. Even the mighty Ferrari 458 handles like a Prius without force feedback, and that just pisses me off.
