After a long session on Last Oasis yesterday, here's a few tips to help ease you into the game.

The loading screen can be a dangerous and unforgivable place..

Not all loading screens are the same. Sometimes you come up to a screen that will try to auto sign you in. This is a good time to get snacks and gamer fuel, roll up some smoke, and make a mixed drink.. It's gonna be a long night...

After that you will hopefully have made it to the main menu. From there you will begin the process of spamming to join the servers. Some people like to quick join from the box in the top left corner, but I personally find it quicker to click on join realm, click on my region, and then hover over the middle of the screen waiting for the failed to join message and the button to exit it. This will be right over the Join Realm button, allowing you to quickly click that again and go select your region. Much more efficient.

Once this ultimately fails, completely exit the game, and see if there's an update that needs to be applied. If so, apply the update and repeat the steps above. If not, just repeat the steps above anyway.

Update: Don't forget to venture into the options, lots to explore there.
