ATLYSS is a fun Action RPG that reminds me of the early MMO days and action-adventure games like Ocarina of Time. The gameplay is good but it could be so much better. The movement and combat feels very fast and fluid. The OST is absolutely beautiful and the furry characters are really cute.



My main issue with this game is the mediocre solo experience. There is little to no difficulty scaling which so many other modern online games have. This is an issue because all the enemies will just gang up on you and you'll spend most of your time constantly parrying and evading all their attacks, giving you barely any room to deal some damage. If you're going to advertise this game as a "Singleplayer/Online RPG" Please, make the solo experience better because it's not good.


I am going to give this a negative rating for now, not because the game is bad, but because the solo experience is mediocre.

A 4 month delay and 25 hours of downtime (plus another 2 hours today) and the servers are still pure garbage. A 10 year build up to the story that is supposed to wrap up the light and dark saga is ruined by constant error codes. Imagine a franchise, that is 10 years old, still NOT having a gallery that stores all the cutscenes you have unlocked so far. NOPE! You have to go to YouTube instead to watch the cutscene you did not get because you got error coded back to orbit!

This game should have been called "CRASHDIVERS™ 2" instead.
