It's a masterpiece story wise, not like anything I have seen before.
The world building and the character building are both extraordinary.
Not to mention how incredible the story cut scenes are done, the quality surpasses even most of the movies I've watched the past recent years.
I just don't think I will be able to see a video game story this good until Death Stranding 2 comes out.
The gameplay starts slow but once you get past the first 3 or 4 chapters, new mechanics will be introduced constantly throughout the entire game, refreshing your experience with the game just when it's about to get repetitive.
One thing I just can't get over is the vehicle physics, it is exceptionally bad, you will constantly get stuck in the weirdest spot that does not make sense to get stuck in, even if you pick the right vehicle for the terrain. So I really only use vehicles when absolutely necessary, otherwise vehicles are only useful once the highways are built.
Also, one minor thing here. The way the soundtracks are implemented feels off. Don't get me wrong here, the quality of the tracks are amazing and definitely go well with the theme. But the timing a track should be played just doesn't feel right most of the time. The timing of the first track in the start of the game was spot on. But then, none of the tracks after that offers the same emotion I felt from the first one, simply because the timing were off.
It's like half way through my session, the game realized it forgot to play this track 3 hours ago when it was supposed to be played, so it went " oh well, might as well start playing now, nobody will notice anyway."
