I originally gave this a thumbs-down because I couldn't get it to behave under Proton, due to EAC

However, I managed to get it running (look for tips here: https://www.protondb.com/app/924970) and played it all the way through with buddies - and it was well fun.

Some will note that it's abandonware - you will not receive updates for this game! - but if you see it on special (at time of writing, it was 80% off - really not expensive) - it's well worth the cost, especially if you have some buddies you'd like to co-op with - it's like a revitalised Left4Dead2, with prettier graphics and some extra mechanics. I have no regrets paying for this game - super fun was had all-round

More of the same, only even longer in the tooth

BL1 was amazeballs. BL2 was rather good. But it really feels like Gearbox is milking this for all they can get and we're all dumb enough to keep on buying. BL:PS is just "more of the same", much like BL3. This franchise needs to die already.

If you like beautiful self-paced puzzlers full of heart, you will adore this game - and you won't even have to hock a kidney to own it.

Stray let's you play as a cat, far in the future, after people have managed to wipe themselves out. The scenery is gorgeous, the environments are pure eye-candy, meticulously sculpted and totally immersive.

The characters are easy to believe - and you'll likely miss them when you're finished.

There's a dedicated meow button. Why are you still reading this and not playing?

I'd recommend a controller for this. Take your time, take in the sights, there's no rush.

I initially got DisplayFusion for the window position profiles - switching between docked/undocked, esp on win10, was annoying, and I could bind a global hotkey to put windows back where they belong. However, after using it for a while, it has so many other great features that I use. For the price, this is jam-packed with value. And the devs are helpful and responsive if you have an issue or a request - even helped me to make AltSnap play nicely with the DisplayFusion Alt-Tab replacement.

If you're looking for a retro-arcade-racing game, but so much better than you could possibly hope for, this is it.

Split-screen racing with a friend, controller support, blistering sound-track, a wide range of tracks and adversaries which range from simple fun to frustrating foibles for completionists, a world-wide leaderboard if your competitive side hasn't gotten enough tickles, different game modes from the World Tour to Endurance and more.

There's even a "retro" mode where you can make the game pixellated and frame-dropping, just how you remember these kinds of games 😂

You aren't going to find as much fun for this price anyhere, I promise. Excellent way to spend time with your child - you'll both have a blast.

If you're looking for a little ARPG, survival-style, this could be a game you'd like.

Take on the challenge of hordes of undead as one of 4 survivors with fun abilities and believable characters. Probably super-fun to play with friends, though I'll have to simply imagine.

If you loved Torchlight and Torchlight 2 and were hoping for more of the same greatness... save your cash, stop holding your breath, this franchise appears to be dead.

I bought TL3 when it was on a Steam special, without even looking at trailers or anything, based solely on how good TL1 & TL2 were. From the get-go, this game has underwhelmed. The characters are meh, the enemies are meh, the pets are meh. Voice acting is fairly good. Honestly, it would have been better to carry through the same character classes from TL2 and add more story, which is kinda what I was hoping for.

Nothing about the game really draws me in. Why are there giant cannons I can shoot, only once? What am I actually trying to achieve in this game? Everything feels like a side-quest. Why can't I use keys 1-8 for whatever I want - I've used 1 for "health potion" since diablo 1, through d2, tl1, tl2, pretty sure I use it on Grim Dawn, which, if you're wondering, is a far better place to spend your money. Assigning skills to a slot is harder than before - you can''t do it easily from the quick skill bar, you have to open the skills page. Took me a while to figure this out because there was nothing to tell me. Onboarding? What onboarding? There are "tutorial" side-quests to acclimate you to general ARPG-ing, but little to tell you how different the interface is from the prior two instalments. Is this supposed to be part of the game? Figure Out The UI?

And what's with the base-building? Who needs that in a story-driven ARPG? What, exactly, am I to derive from moving some pre-fab blocks around an arbitrary area which, as far as I can tell, holds no significance to the rest of the game? If I wanted to build bases, I would have played Minecraft. Also cheaper.

I'm still playing in the vain hope that somehow this is going to get better, by some chance, I'm going start to look forward to playing it, as I did with TL1 & TL2. But I'm not holding my breath, and neither should you.

Also, I bothered to read the terms & conditions before playing. Echtra reserves full rights to any user-generated content, unless they think that content violates something, in which case, you're black-balled. I don't see why anyone would bother to make content for this game in their free time then. The rest of the T&C's don't get better and neither does the privacy policy.

If you've got a few minutes to kill, fill them with a game of Race The Sun. Maddeningly simple, yet tricky. Easy to learn, hard to master.

challenging puzzles and combat, beautiful visuals, immersive sound -- the game is equal parts fun and disturbing: not for the faint of heart, but I highly recommend if you're looking for something with substance.
