Believe it or not this DLC is not excruxiatingly hard. If you are willing to find out what new items, enemies and bosses do you will be fine. The modding capabilities of this DLC (pretty much why it was made) are great and easy to learn through LUA. This DLC adds a nice challenge to the gameplay while not making it too hard. If you are too butthurt by the portals and BigHorn it may be easier to wait untill they are fixed (portals now fixed.)
