Caveat: This is based on the pre-launch beta when complete game was unavailable. I would keep that in mind when reading a bunch of the reviews.

You know sometimes you get a sequel, and for whatever reason they decided to change everything and ruin the game?

Ya this isnt that.

This is what you would hope for in a "sequel". Take everything they learned from Vermintide 1 and 2 and add on that. Do a flawless job with the 40k Universe while also advancing the graphic fidelity of the game from vermintide 2. (Honestly i would of been happy with the Vermintide graphics but this has been really good so far)

Overall everything other then raytracing tanking FPS and a bunch of bugs and its 10/10 for me.

If you are looking for a Co-op game of this genre, look no further. They just need to iron out the bugs and optimise so people don't complain so much in the next few weeks.

I figured it would be better then it was. Honestly should of refunded it.

Game I've owned for years. Keep going back to it. Always fun. Can't recommend it enough if you are going to play it casually with friends.

Only cons is that the "end game" is lacking. The deep dive mechanic needs an overhaul. Feels like a waste of time.

Great story. Well done. Telltale games showing their age though.

Somewhat of a survival, soulslike game that is based around dying and continuously attempting to go deeper.

Its not a forgiving game and is quite difficult towards the end. Overall fun and rewarding. If you are going to play through it and want to beat it a guide is required unless you want to figure it out on your own. My only advice would be to leave no stone unturned otherwise you gotta backtrack a but to get all the shards.

Classic tactics style combat. Story is short, but funny and well written. Good voice acting as well.

Only really interested in single player. The integration for controller/keyboard-mouse seemless like gta5.

I'm 3/4 of the way through the story? There is so much to do in this game its hard to not put infinite hours. Worth it if you want a good story and good game play :)

So you're trying to see if you are going to buy this game?

Caveat : I am a huge X-Com fan, played 1, 2 all the DLCs and the Chimera one. Enjoyed them all. ALl pros/cons but overall enjoyed them.

That being said, the game was exactly what i wanted, a Warhammer style Xcom game, super well done. You CANNOT play it like an old xcom game, the same tactics dont apply, there is different play style required. Game is HARD, if you put it on normal it is tough. Play it on the easiest setting first time around.

PROS :

Game plays awesome. Seems balanced and difficult. You have to make hard choices and can't have everything. (unless lowest difficulty?)

Lots of content, more then i thought and i feel I'm 1/4 of the way through.

Warhammer universe well thought out and displayed throughout the game. I am enjoying the story and all the characters.

Graphics and theme well done and displayed.

CONS :

Interfaces not as ideal/polished as i would like. Autosaves overwrite every turn so you have to keep saving manually.

Game seems to have high requirements despite graphic fidelity. Needs to be updated to give an FPS bump. Plays well otherwise with FPS drops only during cutscenes which are not videos.

Game is hard on "normal" difficulty first time through , sepacially when I'm attempting to apply x-com tactics/logic.

CONS i disagree with

"I'm a space marine i should be invincible" Ok just add cheats?
"Twitch drops ruin the game!" What is twitch drops? honestly dont care, doesnt really add or take away from me playing.
"DLC is just a weapon and a character!" Dont buy it?

Awesome game in the spirit of Baldurs Gate and games like it. Throws in some honest DnD experiences in there and you have yourself a top notch RPG

First of all, bought this game despite the negative reviews as I needed something to play while I'm recovering from injuries. Was hoping the grind would be as fun punch club (Grindy but still fufiling somehow)

Controls were perfect as I'm basically just stuck laying down and using a laptop with the touch pad an no mouse. Pretty simple to navigate and using with little hassle.

Unfortunately once you get past the initial "tutorial" stage the game slows to a crawl. Its been designed to require an insane amount of farming to progress unfortunately. I got 2/3 of the way though the game but cant be bothered to finish it as it now is requiring me to farm even more and its not designed in a way that farming is fun.

TLDR: Listen to other reviews, game is hopelessly grindy with little return in amusement. Art and gameplay is pretty well done otherwise.
