I have owned hundreds of games on steam and not a single one stands out to me like Receiver and Receiver 2. I've been "receiving" since the first one, and this one takes all the concepts from that one and fleshes them out 10 fold (even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gunplay, which is as in depth as it could get already). What I thought was going to be a fun little slender clone with crazy gun mechanics turned out to be a religious experience. To those who can listen, this game will change you, and it's important that you really listen to the tapes in this game. It can help with long, deep-seated personal issues, like it did with me. As to whether this game is worth the price tag, personally the experience is priceless, but objectively as a game, it is still worth the $20 price tag, especially now that Receiver 1 is included as an unlockable easter egg. Buy this game. Listen to the tapes.
