worse than the first game. playtime barely 2 hours and i feel like that's padded by having goofy puzzles. hope you like looking for tiny objects on the ground to pick up. first death i had was because i unlocked a door and then moved my character after, had to restart the whole section and make sure to stand still for 5 seconds after i unlock the door. not sure you can even die in the other levels unless your light goes out

cool art and chill music. pretty cozy idle game and dev is quick with fixes

this was pretty epic i killed zombies with bible verses but i need more

this ♥♥♥♥ slapped ass, every game was fun. some are especially juicy like Uktena 64, The Fruit, and The House of Unrest. I haven't played the other collections but I assume you will like this if you liked those

If mini-golf horror intrigues you at all, play this game. It's been updated a few times since release and now has 3 levels and there's a fish

This is a bit of a review in progress for two reasons:

1. The game is still in early access
   
2. I'm bad at the game and still need to beat it

At first glance, the game looks like Gungeon with brighter colors and it does feel similar going through a first run, but there are definitely differences. The trap/tower defense mechanic is the obvious one at first, and while fun, I think needs some more utilization throughout levels as opposed to just in the final room. I think having the last room be TD makes the bosses a little less bullet hell which is what the normal rooms tend to be. So, you lose the bullet hell aspect in the final rooms and don't seem to utilize the tower defense aspect anywhere else.

I really like the jetpack as the dodge mechanic, it took some getting used to first after the gungeon roll but it's fun. I also enjoy being able to see current active synergies and stats/details on all equipped items as I am playing.

It looks like updates are pretty consistent, I think there is a lot of potential here and I will hopefully update the review as I play more (and maybe actually win a run)

Cool game if you like Castle Crashers. I wish it had lots of characters (loved how castle crashers had tons), but the items can change gameplay a bit, too. Hit detection is better since it is played in lanes, movement still feels comfortable. Short campaign, but it was good and clearly designed to be played through a few times with friends.
