Was never into the first Borderlands, it just would not hold my attention. Was gifted Borderlands 2 and decided to play to humor the one who sent it. I got hooked pretty quickly. In single player alone the game seems to move along a decent path of difficulty (though missions get a little tedious at times). Side missions are necessary as in most open world games in order to keep your character level up to par with the main mission line. The enemy/boss respawns are very predictable and take a way from the game a bit, but overall fun to play.

At first play, this game was a little frustrating. Lots of hunger and thirst issues with not a lot of loot to help. After a few deaths/respawns, one begins to get the hang of the zombies and you find out moving inland to get your supplies to be more profitable. The glitches and bugs are there, but as an alpha it's pretty playable. Long journeys on foot, and definitely better to play with someone else. It's better to play with someone else if just starting out, but I like it so far and can't wait for more updates.
