Brutal, but rewarding. Movement is satisfying and levels are well-designed. It's one of the deepest speedrun games out there -- it picks and refines the best parts of SSBM and then adds a few well-chosen mechanics that push them even further.

The particles and hitstop can be too much sometimes; they're appropriate for a fighter but not as much for a precision platformer.

Really satisfying execution of a great idea: programming a Minesweeper bot to solve puzzles automatically. Start with simple Minesweeper logic (if a '3' has 3 free spaces around it, they're all mines) and build up to stuff so complex you can't really parse it as a human anymore. It evolves from a logic puzzle into more of a Zachtronics-like engineering problem; you start to struggle against the constraints of the simple tools you're given in trying to express complex ideas.

After several hours, the new rules I was adding became a bit too context-specific for me -- but there's a lot of really enjoyable playtime before that. It might look a bit scary, but it's fun and way more accessible than it seems!

this game goes so hard... it might even go too hard... but i'm glad it does, it's got so much heart

not for everyone, but it's an absolute tour de force. one of the best puzzle games i've ever played
