Ok, as with Pony Island, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is great.
The meta aspects of this are over 9k and delivered in an excellent manner.
without spoiling things, it is an interesting commentary on all things gaming, from nostalgia to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ports, to half-finished games taken over by modders & cheaters, the volatile community of gamers and streamers vs the devs and their original gameplay vision, and most importantly, the game characters themselves and their agency vs that of the player.
It is not a long game, unless you want to collect all achievements, which as with pony Island is highly rewarding in itself.
And all this at the cost of a gin & tonic, so just go buy this already.
