so I've played the game from day 1 and I can say its really good, it just takes up a ton of time. I stopped playing for awhile due to the many manyyyyy hours it takes to get a run going each season.

this is probably the best armored core that's been made so far. The healing needs to be taken out of the game, or there needs to be a serious raise in difficulty. it would make things a lot more fun for other players. or if you want to have more fun on your first play-through, just don't heal (repair).

I bought this game full price around release on console, it didn't work out.... I thought ok maybe its a console issue and got it on pc. same problems.

While the game looks good, and honestly, it plays pretty well for me too, no bugs or anything game play wise. The quests bug out a TON, the map SUCKKKKKSSSSSS. the map sucks so damn bad, I don't know if its the markers on the map being wrong, or the map itself being wrong, but I can never get anywhere without having to look up a guide just about. I am also a bit lost in general as the story quests don't really line up for me, its like I have to do a bunch of side quests until I FIND the main story.

The game, COULD be good. All it really needs is some patches, and imo not even big ones. You see people below complaining about boss mechanics, and difficulty, bla bla, whatever. The game could definitely be good, great even, if they just fixed the maps quest markers not working, and the bugged out quests in general. I have added this game to my "trash" library because to me it is very much unplayable.

You know someone gave me this game as one of those $10 random steam key deals. and I think this is the only good game I've ever gotten out of those.

Game does even run, ive also tried this on my win 7 machine, win 11, and win XP. I have tried a ton of fixes, older GPU's and lots of comparability settings. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS UNTIL ITS FIXED!

many people online also seem to say this is just a cash grab and the game does not work.

Very good game, I did return it however.
My main issue with the game is the many many keys you have to use. it makes is extremely hard to play.
there is also a very large learning curve.
great game over all just not for me.

despite all the negative issues when the game first released its actually well worth the purchase.
I bought the game when it first came out, and chose not to play it until I stopped hearing people complain online. Eventually I forgot about the game completely, then the anime or cartoon came out for it. I thought about the game and tried it out, and it seems to me like there are no bugs or issues anymore, in my experience anyways.

I know this game isnt the same as dwarf fortress and their game play is completely different but man this game feels so smooth in comparison.
