I played this game a lot before the Fall Update and really enjoyed the writing and game play back then! The characters are always surprisingly well written and charming for this, let's say, genre of game. While I say that its really clear that the game play was the focus of development and the sexy bits were simply an added bonus and selling point of a very competent and fun business sim.

As for the Fall Update, it massively expanded the content. Adding a new story arc, atleast 4 new costumes for each executive and 2 more brand new executives in general. All of the new writing in the game added for this update carries the same charm and heart of the base game but there is simply more of it. This is a welcome addition as I love this game but, a few things in the new content pose an issue.
Of the new lunch date options, some are very engaging (the battleship one is a favourite of mine) but Fencing and Corgi racing are mind numbing. Fencing serves as a memory game where you need to select the correct order of words said to you by your butler. Many of these words look the same and with no visual or sound component to them it feels incredibly tilted in the games favour and not fair. To unlock the costumes locked behind this mini-game I often just wrote down the order in another window to remember the order. Corgi racing is adorable at first but after the first few times that novelty wears off as at worst your and your dates corgi can simply just wander off for minutes at a time. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade early on that showed me the mini games of dates and i simply skipped the corgi or fencing for characters I had the mini games skin for already.
The last stretch of the game also punishes you for steam rolling through many battles which is a blessing and a curse, on one hand it adds difficulty and some good risk vs reward choices for battles once your executives reach the point that they steamroll everything. But this also makes the game drag on much longer than it needs to at times, which lead to some boredom on my end just waiting to dispel debuffs to buildings, or just getting bad rolls and having stat upgrades fail multiple times under these debuffs.

Overall great expansion with a few hiccups, but its more Max Gentlemen and that is always welcome. Stan Antoine.
