I felt uneasy going into this thinking it'd be really scary based off the concept and screenshots. I was wrong. Played an 8 man lobby with friends and laughed so hard I nearly threw up. Great game 8/10

A super cute game!! It's surprisingly challenging and new mechanics are constantly being introduced throughout the levels. Definitely a fun challenge for anyone who is into retro style platformers. There's also a casual difficulty level that's very accessible while still being fun!

The story and dialogue is very charming-- lots of wit and laughs. Each shroomchild offers a funny (or painfully awkward) interaction with varying personalities. I can't imagine what future family gatherings will be like.

Could use a bit more work, maybe a graphics do-over. I can't say I've ever hit a snake in real life, so I could be wrong on this, but I doubt that it would make a "BIFF" noise.

That being said, the game has some charm to it. I think it has potential :) I enjoyed it for a few minutes!

This is what Terraria would be if it were infinitely better. I could make a pun because space but naaaah that's too much effort so instead I'll just tell you about how this is quite literally Space Terraria meets furries with a somewhat tangible storyline. Either way, Starbound is addictive and if you're an achievement hunter, you might regret the fact that one of the achievements will take up the remaining 80 hours of your playtime. 9./10 love Bird People Would Recommend

Did it for the achievements, turns out you have to pay a dollar for the final one. Not a bad novel though, I cried like a little ***** at the ending.

Easily the creepiest co-op game avaliable on the market right now. I didn't expect to ever have a multiplayer experience where all players just nope out of the game on the first night, but sure enough, pants were changed.
The survival aspect is absolutely brilliant too. I'd actually be willing to pay three times the price just for this game

Storyline is REALLY creepy by the way, be sure to remember to do it sometime even if you're distracted by base building or exploration.


Don't be turned off the Early Access tag, the devs are incredibly loyal and will update with new content very frequently. The great thing about this game is that even if you take a break just for a few weeks, you'll come back to brand new features.

tl;dr: The Forest is a fantastic game that really deserves the 9/10 rating it pulled early on.

Great art, calming atmosphere. Super cute short story and suddenly it turns into you sitting there wondering WTF just happened.
