pretty good game. act 3 can be buggy and doors don't always work right, but the amount of raw, unique, interesting content makes up for this in spades. if skyrim had quests this insteresting, I'd still be playing it.

In all seriousness, this is such a big ♥♥♥♥ you to the one community that hadn't yet boycotted valve. Nobody asked for this, but you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ them all over anyways, and only for a few extra dollars at the end of the day.

Why in the ♥♥♥♥ would you make a game with such a competitive and lively community free to play and add a battle royale mode to it? What the ♥♥♥♥ are you thinking?

I'm really sad to say that I'm gonna have to drop the game now. It was my one true love for a long ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time, and now they've completely trashed everything it stood for in one update.

♥♥♥♥ you, valve. No more case money for you you greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The game is fantastic, in my opinion, but there are a few minor quips I have.

The story is slightly lacking. Coming from the first game, it just doesn't feel as rich. It's still plenty entertaining, though, so certainly give it a shot.

Don't play the game on anything below "Hard". It's too easy, to the point where you'll get bored and start wondering what the point of even playing is when you can kill everything in 3 seconds.


Basically, this game plays like a subpar Tales game. It's certainly not bad, but I don't think there will be a second playthrough for this one honestly. Overall, I give the game a 7.5/10. The visuals, very fun gameplay, and voice acting help save the game from the ♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty and the somewhat cliche storyline.

The claim in the early access monologue is that the price would be raised closer to 50$ as the game got closer to being finished. I could understand that if the game started at 10$, and maybe moved up to 15 at this point. This is a sad excuse for a game at 35$, filled with nothing but glitches, tons of lag, and horrible hitboxes.
