Early Access Review
I have only had a chance to play a few songs, normal is pretty easy, hard starts to definitely get tougher. Normally when I use the vive trackers it's a pain to get them configured but this was easy plug and play and quick click to align the feet and boom! Very impressed with how little effort that was to get going. My review might be biased as I already had the vive trackers (and glad to find a game that inherently supports them as they are far and few in between) so I didn't have to try strapping my controllers or anything to my feet so can't say how that experience is.

As for the game itself, I see a TON of potential. It is super fun and was surprised to see my hands also played a role while dancing since I had both controllers and trackers. ( I am aware this was shown in the promotional video but I didn't quite watch that, I happened to see a tik tok of the game and just came to buy and play, didn't watch the promotional myself until after ). Only issue I have, which is a me issue, is my VR setup is on my second floor and me stomping and jumping around annoyed my wife downstairs so if you live on a second floor apartment or your setup is on your second floor, be prepared to annoy everyone. There is a 'no jump' modifier which is handy, and I am sure it alleviates that a bit, but I didn't bother trying it yet myself. All in all, I am already having fun. I will give another update once I have put more time in.

I would like to add that this does seem to have mod support which is a huge plus for me. I saw a page where I can install my own custom tracks and there is a mod.io link which appears to have user created content that you can download as well to play. I think there was like 6 on there when I checked which has me very excited to see what people come up with for that as well. I will give the custom song piece a test as well once I get a chance.

Just wanted to leave an early review as not many reviews are yet up for this and it definitely needs more players and love as I think this will be up there with Beat Saber as its like a DDR version of Beat Saber. DDR VR if you will.

UPDATE:
This game is straight garbage now. FPS is straight trash, I can't get more then 60 FPS at initial game launch ( which is now like 2 launches to get through ) and after 4 games I have 30 FPS with a F-ing 3080!!! Supposedly people who went to BattleNet from Steam are having some better results but I would have to rebuy the game and start over??? never. Unbelievable how little this company cares about its consumers. They just view us as easy idiots to milk for money. Will not purchase anymore COD games. They have turned this into a garbage constant buying BS game that is buggier then Star Citizen which is a huge feat in of it self. Atleast Cloud Imperium admit the bugs and constantly TRYING to fix it whereas Activision appears to not give 2 thoughts to stability. Only concern they have is provide as little support as possible, do nothing to fix the game and milk the FPS fiends for all of their money. I hope everyone stops purchasing this trash and starts playing something better, like BattleBit or any other FPS shooter.

Original comment back at release:
I would recommend if you are a fan of COD in general but these game developers are getting pathetic. This has so many bugs, glitches and problems in every corner of the game and UI that is is impossible to believe any of this passed QA. This game is in at best Beta stage yet is released as if it is a complete and polished game. Any who know of Star Citizen know that that game is a forever alpha and its full of bugs and that feels AAA compared to the amount of crashes, glitches and BS this game puts out

If you played Wipeout as a kid and have some strong VR legs, you will love this game! So much fun and it is weird that the multi-player i assymetric BUT you can slow down time to try to take turns which would not be possible if you were actively playing with others. It would be nice to have an option to play live with others, which does appear to be on the roadmap, and just lose that feature for that game mode. I am not sure yet how to unlock skins, as there isn't any notes or hints saying how which would be nice so we know how to get them. It also doesn't seem to state how to unlock tracks but as long as you place 3rd in the time, not against the assymetric opponents, that seems to unlock the next track. Super fun!! Definitely need to warn though that if you are not strong in VR, specifically if you get sick easy, be warned that this game will be tough for you but if you can handle... I will see you in the tracks! Also, Devs are helpful as well in the discord which is a super plus
