Played a couple of playthroughs since the launch. And as of 19.01.2024, it seems this game has become abandonware. No communication from the team for months about what they are doing (if anything). Furthermore it seems that they are/were planning on making the rest of the game be a DLC. As in you could finish the basic training and possibly do that until you get to fullfil the basic 6 month service, but if you wanted to specialize as anything beyond "basic rifleman" would be reserved to DLC content. As for my abandonware claim? Well The specialization DLCs where announced mid 2023 but as of the writing of this review, there has not been a word about them nor any update about the base game.

Might be they realized this project was beyond their capabilities.

I would recommend this game (although it works more or less like TrainSim 20xx) just on the bases it feels and looks better. One major gripe however! If you don't do something just the way they like the updates, which come at quite a pace, won't install with "UNSUPPORTED FILE SYSTEM" error.

UPDATE 2022
If you want to avoid the aforementioned trouble with every single UPDATE, just install the game on your SSD, but the problem still persist whenever you buy a new DLC.
