I'm really happy they didn't screw this up.
A really good remaster, a few bugs here and there, but nothing too major and that can't be fixed or added... Having a lots of fun reliving my childhood...

Recommended to all strategy game fans, thank you Xbox/Microsoft!

Edit 10.05.2024: The game is still region locked in my country, as well as in other 179 countries who are on the list (they've added 3 new just a couple of minutes ago)... Looks like Sony ain't done yet with their dumb decisions...

Edit 06.05.2024 : Sony has backtracked their decision! Let this be a lesson for you moving forward and if you try something similar like this again, you now know what to expect...

Still needs a bit more balancing, weapons feel a bit, weak, and servers can sometimes make you rage quit, but overall, thank you for the 40$ masterpiece. EA, Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard and other scummy publishers, I'm glad to say, you got owned...

Edit (28.10.2023): As of this moment, I'm changing the review to negative because of the awful content support for this game...

When the servers work, Payday 3 is fun, but all of the criticism regarding the servers is justified, the launch was a disaster. When people pay for a new product, everyone expect for it to work, but it didn't... That's why many people were upset and probably already refunded the game.

Outside that, I really didn't encounter too many "game breaking" bugs (if any at all) compared to some other games that get released nowadays. The only one that I've noticed is level progression not working sometimes as intended, but that's the only major bug I can think of right now. The performance is really good, the details are there and the police AI is good (though, the AI teammates need improvement).

However, except from servers not being stable properly for 5-6 straight days, the game currently lacks content and I really do hope that the pricing will not be different from Payday 2's DLCs, I don't mind giving 7$ for a new heist, character, mask etc. Also, the progression isn't as interesting compared to 2 and I hate the fact that the skill trees from Payday 2 are (maybe for now) gone, please, bring that back...

I currently have a mix feeling about this game. I was really pissed off when the game came out, the servers really ruined the experience and momentum, but at the same time, I want this game to succeed and it has HUGE potential to be better then Payday 2.

Come on Starbreeze and Deep Silver, don't be like a piece of ♥♥♥♥ drill...

PS. This game is much more enjoyable when playing with friends.

Edit May 1, 2024 : See CA, that wasn't so bad now was it? When you listen to your customers and long time fans/supporters, only good things can come out of it... I truly do hope that from this moment on, you will never, ever disrespect your fan base and never gonna do something similar as Shadows of Change DLC... Changing the review to positive, because that's what you deserve, but I'm gonna leave the previous review just in case you don't forget what got us here in the first place... Cheers!

All of the bugs we have encountered in this game, all the feedback we've sent you to make this game better and the reaction from your side to all of this is terrible, especially with the introduction of this new overpriced DLC...

If you have listened more to your community and your CUSTOMERS, this fiasco wouldn't have happened...

As a fan who's been following you since 2002 and bought every single game and DLC, I'm currently going to stop supporting you from this moment on, unless you decide to change something...

I love this franchise, and I love this game, but you are destroying it, as well as your community, good luck with Pharaoh... (we all know what then happened next...)

This could have been the best Call Of Duty ever made, but with the decision made to release another one this year (which shouldn't have been the case based on the information that this one was going to be supported for two years), I don't care about this game anymore. It also looks like that the developers and Activision also don't give a s*** about this game, considering how slow the new content is coming for multiplayer (for people who paid 70$ to support it) and that most of the focus is on Warzone 2.0. Oh, but the bundles and skins, of course those are more present in game then the game content itself...

Activision, we don't want a new Call Of Duty game every year! If you really do announce a new COD game for this year, mock my words, it will flop and nobody will give a s*** about it, because people were more interested and hyped up for this one, which you are currently ruining. Your reputation will sink even more (even tough it is already at the all time low).

I'm so disappointed and pissed off. The only title I was looking forward to this year, ended up a disaster. After 4 development studios, stopping further support for BF 5 and Battlefront 2, "3 years of development" (not really), "ahead of development" message, this is what we get in the end? How did we come from Battlefield 4 (guns and attachments), Battlefield 1 (breathtaking graphics, audio design and immersion), hell, even Battlefield 5 (gunplay, movement and fortifications), to THIS ?! This is the worst Battlefield I've ever seen and experienced. EA and Dice really f***** up with this one. Some people are bringing up that Battlefield 4 was bad at release, well it was, but from my point of view, this is much more worse, at least the core gameplay and direction wasn't questionable for that title. The game is so buggy and badly optimized. What EA is doing with this franchise and how they are treating it is disgusting and has crossed the line. This is not Battlefield, this is Apex, inside Battlefield, but I guess this is the case since the game was suppose to be a BR game, according to Tom Henderson. The classes, something which was never broken and something which made Battlefield special, unique and different from other shooters, are gone... Now, everyone can have whatever they f***ing want, which hurts the balance, very call of duty-ish. Cringe specialists need to go or be completely overhauled and BRING BACK THE CLASS SYSTEM with normal looking soldiers ! Also, the maps, they are awful... Portal is the only good thing here, but I'm having trouble finding populated servers...

Can this game get any better from a technical aspect after a year, well, wouldn't be the first time, but when it comes to the core design of the game and direction, right now I'm afraid that this franchise is ruined. Also, I'm tired of broken releases, refunded the game and going back to Battlefield 4, 1 and 5.

Masterpiece ! Definitely a must buy...
