Pros:

-Visually stunning game
-Voice acting is well done
-Gameplay is smooth and gunplay is enjoyable
-At least some attention to enemy variety
-Weapon upgrades are worthwhile and a decent investment

Cons

-Game is heavily politicized for very little reason, often mimicing talking points that are just as backwards as the Nazi regime itself
-Extremely disappointing ending sequence
-The difficulties and the damage scaling are ridiculous, its meant to be designed as a game with a run and gun intention, mind you I finished the game on the second hardest difficulty available to me, but sometimes it was too much and slowed down progression.
-Most of the game is sneaking until ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan, then when it doesn, one man and 3 bullets on harder difficulties put you down before you can do anything
-Over the top representation of historical characters. Not jumping to any of their defence because they were evil people, but it came across as trying way too hard
-The ending sequence music is the worst cover I've ever heard
-The weapon variety is pretty limited, the Assault Rifle with armour piercing rounds is MVP in most cases, not much reason to use much else, outside of the Pistol with the Revolver add-on with a silencer for sneaking
-The game makes ridiculous leaps with technology, from saving people from pretty permanent causes of death, to going to Venus? The game's plot is sporadic as hell with these massive leaps
-The story in general is lack lustre, I can sum it up with "Nazi's are bad mmkay, also I'm out of bubblegum"

Far Cry 5 is another installment into the Far Cry series, and the best way I can describe this game is its fun... With its issues. So lets get started

Pro's:

- The environment which you play in is detailed, gorgeous and has some excellent eye candy moments, which for me is very important for me to get really entrenched into the universe I am playing in.

- Weapon variety is solid, albeit locked behind the systems "resistance points", many of them are fun to use and it kept me going back for more.

- Spoiled for choice in regards to vehicles, I really enjoyed the options I have open to me with plenty of flavour for whatever type of player you are.

- The bugs in this game are actually to the games benefit, most of the time they ended up being hilarious and I can't fault them for that.

- The game is better with co-op, and the co-op system functions perfectly fine.

- Fishing, yes, fishing, I found it to be a nice feature and very welcomed in my opinion, but the controls for it don't function as well on PC as it does for a controller.

- The map is large and there is lots to explore.

Cons:

- The antagonists never really reach their full potential in my opinion. Everything they did and said made sense, it was all appropriate and almost intuitive. That is not good design, the writers did fall through with the Seed family in this game, it could have been approached much better and you could have created villians you really hated, most of the time they just ended up being annoying or just plain cringe.

- Removing the animal hunting progression in favour of skills, that's part of why Far Cry 3 sticks out in my mind so well was hunting animals so I could carry more weapons and ammo to create pouches and what not. This game forgoes that for skills, not a good idea.

- The story quests don't really feel like story quests. They give you a basic idea in which zone you should start off with then after that, let you go on your merry way. The story quests most of the time just feel like minor victories, nothing really stuck in my mind as something very important for the game, maybe a mission or two did but overall, not really. Also, when you killed the leader of the zone you are in, you lose some of the story missions all together, so you are basically forced into tunneling the story missions before you can hit side quests for the fear of losing those story missions because you got your resistance points too fast.

- There's no reason to hunt animals other than its a paycheck.

- No enemy progression what so ever, worst thing about a game is killing the same enemies. All. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Game. We need ENEMY PROGRESSION. Make them harder and more deadly later on, not just more of them.

- There were political jabs in this game pointing at current events, for me I play video games as an escape, please keep them out for heavens sake, I don't care, let me play my video games without being reminded about what's going on.

- The game doesn't really have a clear direction in mind when you are playing, you are left to your own devices which is good, giving autonomy to the player, but this game gave you too much autonomy sometimes, a little hand holding just so you feel like the story progression is going somewhere is a benefit sometimes.

- Also uplay, ♥♥♥♥ uplay.
